Good Morning NASA!

Going out of your way to get into trouble can be FUN!  In 1988 NASA is entertained by Robin Williams’ with a wake up broadcast to the astronauts orbiting Earth.

The actor’s introduction references his 1987 role in “Good Morning Vietnam” which then  led into a space shuttle-themed song to the tune of the “Green Acres” TV show.

The mission was the first launched since the Challenger disaster in 1986.   Five lucky astronauts received this UN-traditional wake-up call on their first day in orbit on a mission to deploy a satellite that supports numerous other NASA satellites and human spacecraft, including the International Space Station.

Robin spread his love far and wide in ways that always surprised and delighted… boosted spirits and made the world a better place.

About the project: Instead of “liking” Robin and all that he stood for, you are being invited to be Robin for someone else. Let’s echo an immense legacy and fill the world with MORE love.

Let’s rise to the occasion and show that all the love Robin has given to us mattered in imagining and creating a better world for us all.
