Sharing in his success was important to him

Robin Williams was always very gracious in giving his friends opportunities in the projects he worked on and finding other ways to promote their skills.

He also helped nurture the creation of Comic Relief and Comedy Day events that I believe facilitated lifelong friendships within a vibrant and connected community of comedians, writers, actors and directors.

David Letterman’s tribute after his passing gives you an appreciation this:

The following is rare 1980s footage of Robin with director Howard Storm to promote his directing skills after the conclusion of Mork and Mindy.

In the video, Williams was purposefully being difficult to work with and not listening to directions from Storm to prove the point that, “If he can work with me… he can work with anyone!”

WhatDreamsMayCome.org is echoing Robin William’s spiritual legacy to bring MORE kindness to the world.

About the project: Instead of “liking” Robin and all that he stood for, you are being invited to be Robin for someone else. Let’s echo an immense legacy and fill the world with MORE love.

Let’s rise to the occasion and show that all the love Robin has given to us mattered in imagining and creating a better world for us all.
